To buy a resident hunting license in North Dakota, you must prove that you've lived in the state for at least six months and don't claim residency in any other state. You must also furnish your Social Security Number, pursuant to federal laws, and proof that you completed a certified hunter education course. The appropriate fees must be paid at the time you purchase the license(s), certificate(s), and endorsement(s).
