Friends & Servants is a program of the YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County. Support us in our mission to empower troubled youth and Juvenile offenders by purchasing a weekly share from our farm. All of our freshly harvested fruits and vegetables are naturally grown with out the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers.

Possible Fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, plums, pears, apples

Possible Vegetables: lettuce, chard, spinach, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, onions, radishes, beets, carrots, potatoes, beans, corn, peas, tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers and more

Other Possible Surprises: honey, cider, herbs

We are a youth development program where teens learn farming, marketing and customer service skills. The vegetable garden consists of over 40 varieties of annual crops sowon, tended and harvested by youth in the work experience program, using sustainable practices. All vegetables are grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Our produce is sold through our CSA program and the Puyallup Farmers Market.
