The park attracts RV travelers in search of mild winters and a central point from which to explore the Gulf Coast.

The notion that "All Are Welcome" is not simply a slogan. It is our Policy.

The park's name (and inspiration) derives from the narrow gauge railways that still serve remote areas of Wales in Great Britain. On those "light railways", the locomotives and cars are smaller, and they run on a "narrow gauge" the distance between the tracks is 2 feet instead of 4 ft. 8Â½ inches for a standard railroad.
