The University of Connecticut Skating Rink, located at the end of Stadium Road offers a brand new indoor ice skating facility. There is a concession stand serving refreshments, a parking lot with shuttle service, rest rooms, and a telephone available. Recreational skating accounts for roughly 65% of the rink use. Students and season ticket holders have priority in using the rink. Others may use the rink on a daily fee basis during the specific General Recreation Periods.

During University recess, the General Recreational Skating program is expanded because all scheduled class work and lessons are suspended. Rental skates are available at 50 cents a pair. The Rink is in operation from November 1 to March 31.
