Sequoyah State Park, located in eastern Oklahoma on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake, is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

With over 19,000 surface acres of water and 225 miles of shoreline, the park attracts boaters as well as those who just enjoy relaxing on the swim beach. Visitors enjoy hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides and Western-themed activities as well as wildlife watching, golf and disc-golf, fishing and camping.

The Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, formerly known as Western Hills Guest Ranch, offers on-site lodging within the park. It is the largest of Oklahoma's state park lodges with 104 lodge rooms and suites, 44 cottages, a bunkhouse that sleeps 44 people, a restaurant, meeting rooms, zero-entry swimming pool with children's splash park, tennis courts, playgrounds, recreation programs, outdoor cookouts and more.

Campground facilities at Sequoyah State Park include 48 full hookup sites and 80 water and electric hookup RV sites spread between three areas. The Seminole Area offers 20 full hookup sites and 20 sites with water and electric hookups. Eight of each type are reservable, while the remainder are available on a first come, first serve basis. The Choctaw Area offers 28 full hookup sites, 10 of which are reservable, while the Cherokee Area has 60 sites with water and electric, 15 of which are reservable. Reservations guarantee a site in a specific area, but not a specific site number. All reserved sites will be identified with a yellow sign.

A total of 150 tent sites are also available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional facilities at Sequoyah State Park include comfort stations, lighted boat ramps and group picnic shelters. The group camp facilities include 10 A-frame cabins that can accommodate 150 people, as well as climate-controlled dining hall.
