The five-acre Prouty Place State Park is five miles southwest of PA 44 along Long Toe Road. This remote park offers access to hunting, fishing and hiking within the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest.

Prouty Place provides trailhead parking for hiking trails in the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest.

Fishing at Prouty Place State Park

Coldwater fishing is available in Prouty Run and in the streams in the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest.

Hunting is permitted in the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest, which has:

White-tailed deer
Black bear
Squirrel
