Located just west of Hastings, Nebraska, the beautiful barns were once part of a working farm that fed over one thousand people. Buildings on site are currently undergoing renovations to provide energy-efficient, multi-purpose space for programs and events. Prairie Loft is maintained as a demonstration site for wise use of natural resources to the greatest extent possible. Operational funding and in-kind support comes from individual donors and from local and national businesses, foundations and corporations. Currently, approximately 30% of our income comes from earned revenue from facility rental and event admission fees.
