The Chirico Trail offers a steeper, shorter access route to the summit of Poo Poo Point, where hikers can watch paragliders floating down from the Point to the landing field below. Enjoy expansive views of Mount Rainier and Lake Sammamish on clear days.
A moderate trail with steady gains, the Chirico Trail is just under 2 miles to the point. It's a good option for hikers during the summer, as it is tree-covered and well shaded. The views on the way up are excellent, hence it's popularity. But in spite of heavy traffic, the trail is quite narrow, so please observe proper trail etiquette when you meet other hikers.
