About Us:

Pheasantview Family Farm is a Certified Naturally Grown, family run farm in southern Morrow County Ohio.

Our love of farming came early, my husband Scott, worked on a dairy farm as well as raising chickens and gardening for a large family from the time he was 8 years old. My parents raised pigs, planted a garden each year and my aunt ran a dairy farm!

We built our farm from the ground up. Every barn, building, pen, fence (with the exception of our house) were all built by us since we purchased the property in 1996. We have slowly added to it each year as we are able, either new animals, new barns or additions to the garden.

Our love of naturally raised, fresh tasting vegetables inspired us to begin our own garden that has evolved over the years, experimenting with planting methods, times and dealing with varying weather conditions. We never use pesticides or herbicides on our vegetables, creating a sustainable, healthy alternative to grocery store vegetables that have been treated, gassed or waxed in order for them to survive their journey from the grower to you.

Our animal adventure began in 1997 shortly after our house was built. We bought our first cow and we were on our way! We now offer naturally raised turkey with no hormones or antibiotics!

Wanting to share our love of farming, our animals and fresh foods, in 2010 we began Pheasantview Family Farm LLC.   We started slowly with our garden and began selling fresh vegetables, baked goods, jams and eggs at the Farmers Market!

We opened our farm to visitors in the fall of 2011. This being our favorite time of year, we had always dreamt of offering hayrides and interactions with our animals to adults and children alike. For us it was a natural transition. We had families & individuals come out each week to pick their own pumpkin, take a hayride, walk through our woods to enjoy the fall colors or stop by to purchase vegetables that were still available in our garden!
