Pawtucket Dog Park


Established in June 2011, the Pawtucket Dog Park has become a beloved location within Slater Memorial Park to bring your pup to run, play and socialize with others. It has also become a great place for people to meet and make new friendships. It has been said that the Pawtucket Dog Park is one of the best off-leash dog parks in the state of Rhode Island.

Dogs under 30 lbs MUST use the small dog area. Dogs over 30 lbs MUST use the large dog area
 
Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park (City Code 116-11) and off leash while in the dog park
 
Dogs must be current on vaccinations, legally licensed and spayed or neutered. (City Code 116-36)
 
Dogs in heat are prohibited
 
Dogs must be no less than four months old to enter the dog park
 
Dogs with a known history of aggressive behavior are prohibited from the dog park
 
Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior must be removed from the dog park IMMEDIATELY!
 
Dog owners are solely liable for injuries and/or damages caused by their dog
 
Dog owners must stay with their dog at all times.
 
Dog waste must be cleaned up immediately by owners and placed in the proper receptacle
 
Owners must immediately fill in any hole made by their dog
 
Children under the age of 8 are not permitted within the gates of the dog park; 9-14 year olds with supervision
 
Food, toys and training tools are prohibited from the dog park

Dog training classes are prohibited.
