McIntosh Cellars is a 76-acre apple orchard that sits atop a crest of land in South Haven, MI. A family owned business, founded by Bruce McIntosh in 1997, is a labor of love. " This was always my retirement dream and passion to own a place on earth where families gather. There is no better way to enjoy the picturesque rolling orchard and its gifts. Affectionately known as "Daddy Mac," Bruce is a mad scientist at heart and his passion is creating recipes from the fruits of the earth. A chemist by trade, Bruce began making wine as a hobby in the 70's. "Our basement growing up was a cavern of enormous glass vessels filled with ruby red liquid and tubes everywhere," recalls Toni McIntosh, daughter number three (of four). "That hobby paved the way for our boutique operation that has grown steadily for us since opening. We don't need to be a big operation, we just need to the best at what we do, says McIntosh. My wife, Marie and four daughters are the five apples of my eye, and together we have built this business with good old-fashioned hard work."
