Mammoth Cave Canoe and Kayak

1240 Old Mammoth Cave Road

About Us:

Mammoth Cave Canoe & Kayak offers a variety of canoe trips through Mammoth Cave National Park on the slow moving Green River. Trips range from a three hour paddle to a three day camping excursion.

The Green River through Mammoth Cave National Park is one of the finest family oriented canoeing streams in the state of Kentucky. Mammoth Cave became a National Park in 1941. Canoeing the Green, you can experience one way early settlers found new homes during westward expansion. Nature has taken its course along the Green River and has, in many areas, reclaimed the environmental conditions of 200 years ago. Canoers can expect to encounter deer, beaver, fox, bobcat, wild turkey, a large variety of birds, and several different species of fish such as muskie, small mouth bass, and catfish.
