Lee Creek Area

The Lee Creek area is located on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, approximately 12 miles west of Salt Lake City. Audubon manages the 305 acre Lee Creek Area as part of a larger complex called the South Shore Preserve.

With the help of many partners, we've transformed a severely degraded area into a healthy, vibrant place for wildlife, and created a place where the community can experience the natural beauty and wonder of Great Salt Lake through wildlife compatible activities such as sunset viewing, bird watching, photography and nature walking.
