La Mesa Skate Park

8855 Dallas Street

The La Mesa Skate Park in La Mesita Park, located at 8855 Dallas Street is a free, unsupervised skate park for skateboarding and in-line skating,

The unlighted skate park is open every day from dawn to dusk. A full set of rules is posted at the park.

Modifications to the park include redesigning the park to be suitable as an unsupervised park. The revamped skate park includes two new ramps, new fencing, benches, trash cans, and signage.

In January 2008 the La Mesa City Council adopted Municipal Code Chapter  10.21, Sections 10.21.011 through 10.21.019 establishing rules of conduct for the safety of park users. Skaters are required to wear helmets, kneepads, and elbow pads. No  smoking, alcohol, or drug use, intimidation, hazing, or fighting will be permitted in the  skatepark.
