Mission Statement:
The mission of the Insect Zoo is to foster a better understanding and increased awareness of our microcosmic, natural world and of the important roles that insects and their relatives play in it.
The Zoo offers an interactive experience for visitors, where they can experience the sights, sounds, and smells of live creepy crawlies, including giant cockroaches, beetles, giant walking and prickly sticks, praying mantises, and centipedes, scorpions, and tarantulas.

Operating Hours:

Open Tuesday-Friday 1pm to 6pm and Saturday 12pm to 6 pm and by appointment.

Admission: Walk-in visitors are $3/person, active military are $2/person.

Guided tours: charge is $4/person and must be scheduled one week in advance

($24 minimum charge per group)
