Hyalite Lake


11 miles, 1900 feet – View 11 waterfalls up close, and that’s not counting the smaller ones on the cliffs that rise up on the sides of this canyon. Most of the elevation gain comes in the last mile of this hike, so go as far as you can and enjoy the sights. If this isn’t challenging enough for you, continue on past the lake to Hyalite Peak for huge vistas of the Gallatin Crest.
