Hamilton-Carr Greenway

Old State Road and State Route 109

Eight (8) foot wide asphalt trail.  Available for use by pedestrians and bicyclists.

Size: Current trail length is 1.4 miles.

Amenities: Restrooms and trash cans are available at the Al Foster Memorial Trailhead.

Location: The trail begins at the Al Foster Trailhead in Glencoe and proceeds northwest to the intersection of Old State Road and State Route 109.  There is a small portion of trail which needs to be constructed, which will include a tunnel under Old State Road and the continuation of the trail on the north side of Old State Road to its current terminus at Rue de La Salle.  The trail then continues along the east side of State Route 109 to Woods Road, near the entrance to Rockwoods Reservation.
