About Us:

Golden Gate Audubon Society is working to create the most bird-friendly urban community in North America. Our membership area is made up of San Francisco and sections of the East Bay including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington, Piedmont, Emeryville, Orinda and Moraga. We offer over 100 volunteer-led field trips each year that are free and open to the public. Our other activities include habitat restoration at areas including Pier 94 in San Francisco and Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline in Oakland; Eco-Education classes for over 700 low-income elementary schoolchildren each year; and conservation advocacy.

Our office is open from 9 to 12 and 1 to 5 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and other times by appointment.
