CLASSES

Classes this season will include Modifieds, Bombers, Stingers, and Street Stocks. There will also be special events sprinkled in of all classes including Late Models and Sprint Cars! Click HERE for rules.

THE TRACK

Deep South Speedway is a 4/10 mile high banked dirt oval speedway. DSS is located between Pensacola, FL and Mobile, AL near the Gulf Coast. It sits 4 miles north of I-10 (exit 44) on Hwy 59 between Stapleton and Loxley, Alabama. The speedway is one of the nicest race tracks throughout the south.

The 4/10 mile measurement comes from 10 feet in from the outside wall. It is 3/10 mile around on the inside rim of the track. The front straight is banked at 8 degrees while the back straight is banked at 14 degrees. The turns are banked at 22 degrees each. The front straight is approximately 65 feet wide and the back is 80 feet wide. Both turns are over 90 feet wide from the inside rim to the outside wall.
