Clippard Park

Clippard Park, a 15 acre park located near Bevis Elementary School with entries on Dewhill Drive and Bevis Lane, originally opened in the 1970′s.  In January 2008, Colerain Township started the process of redeveloping the park by holding the first of five public meetings to get input from residents.  The community’s input was used to develop three conceptual plans incorporating suggestions given at the meetings.  The plans were first presented to the Board of Trustees on May 13, 2008 for their input.  After minor tweaking to the plans, a final concept plan was accepted.  Brandstetter Carroll was hired to design the formal plans for the redevelopment which would include an additional five acres being purchased in part by a NatureWorks grant through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Construction began in July 2009 and was complete in September 2010.
