The Cape Ann Farmers' Market is a mission-based not-for-profit organization. Our fiscal sponsor is Cape Ann Business Incubator.

- Support local food growers and fishermen who are active stewards of the land and ocean
- Connect local residents with the highest quality food possible at prices they can afford
- Generate and expand a network of backyard gardeners who are providing for themselves while "greening" urban areas of Gloucester (see: Backyard Growers and Get Fit Gloucester)
- Create community-wide changes that support more active lifestyles and increase the availability of healthy, affordable foods to help propel Cape Ann into a healthier future
