Entering into its seventh season, Burlington County operates a weekly community farmers' market featuring over 30 vendors. Operating this market is an extension of the County's farmland preservation goals in that it provides opportunities for local farmers to direct market their products at retail prices. As a result, our local farmers have gained greater control over production and marketing decisions while capitalizing on the opportunity to sell specialty or niche products, test new enterprises or give direct marketing a try without making a huge financial investment.

For the consumers and the community, this market offers a host of social, economic and health benefits. Since we've opened, it's been a great place to meet and socialize with neighbors and offers an alternative shopping experience. The community as a whole has more access to fresh food and the opportunity to develop relationships with local growers which results in healthier eating habits.
