Bowling Green State University Ice Arena

417 North Mercer Road
419-372-2264

When planning a Public Skating outing, plan to arrive a few minutes early to avoid a possible wait in line. 500 new pairs of skates are available to rent in all sizes by exchanging shoes. Toddlers need to go up one size, children's skates generally run true to size while adults should request skates one size smaller than street shoes.  Skates should always fit snug.  A properly tied skate should be laced up all the way to the top hooks and tight around the ankles.

Access to the building is limited to matted or carpeted areas while wearing skates. The Ice Arena offers skate aids (walkers) for beginning level skaters at no cost. Exclusive use is not guaranteed.
