Big Foot Horse Trail


Operated by the United States Forest Service, Big Foot Horse Trail features 23 miles of trail, which is excellent for the beginner as well as experienced horseback rider or hiker. The trail offers four loops ranging in length from five to eleven miles. Note: This is a totally primitive campground; bring water. All National Forest Campgrounds do not allow alcohol. Directions: Take Highway 49 to Saucier; turn east on Bethel Road; follow Bethel to four-way stop; go left (north) approximately three miles on Airey Tower Road; turn east on FS Road 440; go one mile to entrance.
