Bench Road Trail

This is a nice quaint little trail with some interesting history. The trail starts out at the gazebo and does an entire loop around the mountain. The trail is pretty flat and wide, there is not really anything to get in your way unless a tree has fallen across the trail. There are really no big climbs here or technical stuff but there are some really great views of the river valley. There is one section on the north side that has an old swimming hole where way back when, folks would flock to the resort that was on the mountain and come down and swim in the hole, I would advise not swimming in it now though.
