1. Charlestown Breachway, Charlestown, RI

Situated on the east side of the Breachway, this little camping spot is within an easy walking distance of the beach. Make it there and you’ll find great panoramic views of the Block Island Sound, great bird watching, and plenty of fishing.

2. Burlingame State Campgrounds, Charlestown, RI

Located right next to Charlestown’s Watchaug Pond, here you’ll have around 700 campsites and 20 wooden cabins to choose from. The freshwater beach nearby is perfect for a midday swim. The campground also boasts amenities like a playground and arcade for the kids!

3. Melville Ponds Campground, Portsmouth, RI

Located in Newport County, not far from the historical town of Newport itself, you’ll find the spacious and lovely Melville Ponds Campground! The campsites are well-suited for both RV and tents, and you can even reserve a premium spot, which comes with a stone patio and fire pit.

4. Fishermens Memorial State Park and Campgrounds, Narragansett, RI
