From rustic retreats in the Ozark Mountains to more luxurious getaways among California redwoods, Airbnb’s treehouse stays are something out of a fairytale. If you’re looking for a quiet escape and a tranquil destination to connect with nature, look no further. Here are some of the most stunning treehouse camping destinations on Airbnb.

87 Getaway Treehouse Retreat, Mountain View, AR

Tucked onto a forested hillside in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, the 87 Getaway Treehouse Retreat is all that you’d hope for in a treehouse location. The stilted cabin is constructed of rough-hewn lumber and logs and sits among the foliage of surrounding trees. A firepit and open-air lower level are perfect for relaxing or entertaining and soaking in all those camping vibes. But once you go inside, you’ll be treated to running water, electricity, and even beds. So, only pack your sleeping pad if you really want to.

Chez Tree Rest Treehouse, Lafayette, NY

The Chez Tree Rest Treehouse is perched on a platform among the trees of a hardwood forest in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. The two-story, arboreal tiny house is accessible by a cable bridge from the hillside and features a lower-level deck with an outdoor shower, as well as two beds and a wraparound porch. A composting toilet is located in treehouse itself. A generator is available for those who must have electricity.

Forest Camping Hut, Elk, CA

The views from the Forest Camping Hut are dominated by the coastal redwoods of Mendocino County, California. This treehouse offers a complete nature experience but with some amenities a little above those of a campground, like a queen bed and a private composting toilet. If this is camping, we don’t want to go home.

Tiny Tree Cabin, Rye, NH

The Tiny Tree Cabin offers a true camping experience in the gorgeous New Hampshire woods. No heat or electricity is available in the cabin, but you get beautiful views and tons of serenity. Sleeping pads are provided—or bring your own sleeping gear. You will have a private bathroom to use at the guest house, which is a two-minute walk from the tree house.

Rocky Mountain Treehouse, Carbondale, CO

The name says it all: It’s a treehouse in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Sitting on more than two acres of land, Rocky Mountain Treehouse is supported by four 100-foot tall spruce trees, 25 feet above a creek that runs beneath it. Features include a wood-burning stove, a deck, a full-sized kitchen, and a hot tub.

Abbie’s Waterfall Treehouse, Suches, GA

Abbie’s Waterfall Treehouse is tucked back into the forest, overlooking a small stream and a waterfall. The octagonal treehouse features wraparound windows, so you can treebathe from the center of your room. The Waterfall Treehouse has minimal amenities, affording you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the serenity of your surroundings, including the adjacent Chattahoochee National Forest. Bathrooms and showers are available at the main cabin.

Deer Camp Treehouse, Dunlap, TN

Deer Camp Treehouse bills itself as a true glamping experience and considering the amenities available to guests—from a fire pit to an outdoor theater—they’re probably correct. The treehouse, itself, is a 12-foot square, nicely-appointed structure on stilts. Bathroom and shower facilities are located in the next-door, wood-heated, former greenhouse.

Treehouse Cabin Retreat, Old Town, FL

Set back in the forest, not far from Florida’s Suwannee River, the Treehouse Cabin Retreat is wooded getaway. There is no running water (but it is Florida, so air conditioning is available) in the treehouse. But a firepit, hammock, and fire pole are all included. An outdoor bathroom is available near the main cabin.

Enchanted Treehouse Cottage, Mountain View, HI

The Enchanted Treehouse Cottage is a twinkle-lighted tent nestled into a bamboo grove just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The frame is bent from the branches of local wood, and the treehouse offers features like an old-school icebox and a canopied bed. A bamboo-lined outdoor shower completes the enchanted experience.

Tree House Glamping, Squaw Lake, MN

Located in Minnesota’s North Woods, near the Chippewa National Forest, Tree House Glamping is a lakeside retreat from civilization. The polygonal structure is lofted on a log-supported platform and offers 180-degree views of Dixon Lake and the surrounding tall pines. Campers have access to multiple water toys along with a well-appointed bathroom in the main house.
